Dj Playboy
started off in the soca industry stringing up wires for
the Grenada born band of the 80’s “Earth Tremors” with
his step dad and step brother Dj Kaution (R.I.P). After
4 years on the radio scene in Grenada (CRFM 89.5) he
moved on to Club life and spent 5 years at Fantazia 2001
nightclub mixing Soca, Dancehall Reggae, Hip Hop,
Meringue and the like for visitors and locals.
The journey to America was a tough one and from Clubs
such as Palm Beach, Daiquiri Dump, Caribbean Grill and
Eddies Sports Bar and Grill, an evolution was
instigated. Teaming up with Sport Izm of IZM
Entertainment they formed the coalition know as “Black
Rhino Sound”.
This site was built as a place to inform the world
about dallas reggae and it’s happenings within the
metroplex. Purchase of Cd’s and such are for personal
enjoyment only and have been labeled as a unique
creation by “DJ Playboy”.
